Rooted College Planning uses a curriculum-based approach, ensuring all students meet milestones and are on track to meet deadlines.
Comprehensive College Planning | $3800
Commencing any time after June 1 of sophomore year, this hands-on option includes approximately 25-30 hours of 1:1 or family meetings and e-mail, phone, and text access to Carly during the process. This option is perfect for families who want comprehensive assistance throughout the process.
The pace and progression of these services is based on the needs of each student, and includes but is not limited to the following:
Assessment of transcripts, standardized tests, course selection, and extracurricular activities
Test prep planning and scheduling
Determination of desired and best fit college characteristics
Recommendation of most appropriate colleges and universities to which student should apply, including low chance, medium chance, and high chance of admission schools
Custom application plan with goals and deadlines
Campus visit planning and scheduling
Identification of all required application materials for student-selected colleges and universities
Essay-writing online workshop program
Financial aid and scholarship guidance
Guided College Planning | $2600
Commencing any time after June 1 of sophomore year, this hands-off option includes 8-12 hours of family meetings and e-mail access to Carly during the process. This option is perfect for families who want expert guidance on an intermittent basis.
Quarterly meetings are designed to be direct and fast-paced, ensuring focused progress. Students will receive directed homework at the end of each session, with the expectation that tasks are completed between meetings to maximize efficiency and results. Parent(s) should be present in each meeting. Services include the following:

Early High School Foundations | $650
Commencing between September 1 of freshman year and June 1 of sophomore year, this option can be added on to either package above and includes setting a solid foundation for college planning. Students will learn how to make the most of high school and how to be more prepared and better candidates for college, partake in career and personality testing, and more.
